Oakland Co. Reserve Deputy - new condition - The reserve unit have all attended a reserve academy that allows them to work alongside full-time sheriff's office personnel. The reserve officers perform more than 20,000 hours annually to assist the Sheriff's Office in a variety of duties.

Oakland Co. Road Commission Weighmaster - new condition - The Weighmaster Division of the Road Commission enforces rules and regulations for the movement of oversize and overweight vehicles on roads under the jurisdiction of the Road Commission. This includes enforcement of spring weight limitations and movement of houses.

Oakland Co. Sheriff - Marine Div. - new condition - The Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit – the largest in the state – has more than 45 part-time Marine Deputies who can quickly respond to emergencies on any of the lakes in the county. The unit has 23 patrol boats for countywide patrols. The Sheriff’s Office also contracts with 12 communities to patrol 19 lakes.

Oakland Co. Sheriff Dept. - Cadet - new condition - The Oakland County Sheriff's Office Cadet Unit is made up of aspiring young adults, ages 16-21, who volunteer at community events throughout the county. An Oakland County Sheriff Cadet is a young adult who has a special interest in law enforcement and wants to gain insight into the typical career of a law enforcement officer through volunteer service. Sheriff Cadets are taught the basics of law enforcement and receive hands-on training.

Oakland Co. Sheriff Dept. Boot Camp - new condition - Men and women who have been sentenced to 90 days or more of incarceration may be eligible for the Regimented Inmate Discipline Program (RIDP). The program is run by the Oakland County Sheriff's Department. The eight-week program consists of strenuous physical activity and work, including community projects, educational and employment programs, and counseling. A staff member assists inmates in finding employment in the community, and upon successful completion of the program, the remainder of their sentence is suspended on probation.

Oakland Co. Sheriff - Cell Extraction Team - new condition - The Cell Extraction Team carries out forcible removals of prisoners who refuse to leave the cell or other closed area of the prison. The corrections facility is a 596 bed jail in the city of Pontiac.

Oakland Co. Sheriff - Work Projects - new condition - The sheriff's office manages and monitors the work release program using an electronic GPS tracking device that allows the offender to return home each night and not return to jail. This allows offenders to maintain their employment status while being accountable for their whereabouts.

Oakland Co. Communications - new condition - The Sheriff's Emergency Communications and Operations Center provides all emergency and non-emergency call-taking and dispatching for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, 9 local LE agencies, and 19 local fire/EMS agencies. In 2015 Sheriff Michael Bouchard brought Text-to-911 services to Oakland County. This gives the citizens the option to “Call when they can, Text when they can’t”. In 2022, the Sheriff's Emergency Communications and Operations Center managed over 516,000 telephone calls; 911 cellular calls now constitute over 84% of the total calls made to 911.
