While in the jail, staff ensure they are housed in a safe, humane and healthy environment and are treated with dignity and respect.

Weld Co. Sheriff Posse - There has been a Weld County Sheriff's Posse since the late 1800's. The current posse was formed in 1958. The members of the posse consist of volunteer reserve deputies and volunteer citizens.

The Eaton, Evans, Firestone, Garden City, Milliken, Severance and Windsor Police Departments all provide personnel for the SWAT team.
